covered button earrings

i love covered buttons.  you all know that.  i translated my love for coverd buttons into earrings!  they are the perfect inexpensive pop of color.  here's a sneak peak...

i love this fabric.  the print may vary on the earrings but i'm telling you, no matter what piece you get you will love it.

these little gems are $5.00 per pair.  as with everything, our shipping is $5.00 bbbbbbbbuuuuuuuuutttttttt we can fit a lot in a flat rate box=)

favorite things friday

welcome to the first edition of favorite things friday.  this is a chance for us to pass along some of our favorite things to you! 

this song, written by american idol contestent chris medina is one of the most profound things i have heard in a long time.  his fiance was in an accident and suffered a life altering brain injury.  this is the story of that injury and his firm commitment to her.  all i can say is, wow!

pink/black and pretty all over

i've got another new bow to show.  there is something about nice weather that get's the creativity going....  i've been a busy bee lately.  what do you think of this one-of-a-kind lovely?

halloween is coming!

my husband loves halloween.  actually, he more than loves it...he's slightly obsessed.  i've had halloween on my mind lately and decided to put it in the form of a bow!

all we are saying, is give big bows a chance!

ever since i found out i was pregnant with a little girl, i've been in love with big bows.  some days i think i should be in the south, i mean really, what's cuter than a little girl with a cute outfit and a matching bow??  if you know my daughter you also know that it is not uncommon for a sydney sighting with a bow on that's the size of her head=)  that's another blog post for another day.

one thing that has interested me about big bows is the fear that surrounds them.  i can tell you, the most common feedback i hear is, "they are really cute but it's too big."  i'm here to tell you something, they aren't too big!  a little girl can wear a big bow and rock it!  and there is never such a thing as too big of a bow (in my humble opinion of course)!

park day with the foglio's

before my sister-in-law and nieces and nephews left (or should i say we thought they were going to leave), we got together to hang out at the park.  the kids are all close in age and were excited and a little sad to see each other one last time.
