i'm a little bit in love with the vintage look.  i mean the colors, the prints, they are so cute!  i've been creating....imagine that.  and here's what i came up with!

i love covered buttons.  you all know that.  i translated my love for coverd buttons into earrings!  they are the perfect inexpensive pop of color.  here's a sneak peak...

halloween is coming!

my husband loves halloween.  actually, he more than loves it...he's slightly obsessed.  i've had halloween on my mind lately and decided to put it in the form of a bow!

all we are saying, is give big bows a chance!

ever since i found out i was pregnant with a little girl, i've been in love with big bows.  some days i think i should be in the south, i mean really, what's cuter than a little girl with a cute outfit and a matching bow??  if you know my daughter you also know that it is not uncommon for a sydney sighting with a bow on that's the size of her head=)  that's another blog post for another day.

one thing that has interested me about big bows is the fear that surrounds them.  i can tell you, the most common feedback i hear is, "they are really cute but it's too big."  i'm here to tell you something, they aren't too big!  a little girl can wear a big bow and rock it!  and there is never such a thing as too big of a bow (in my humble opinion of course)!

before my sister-in-law and nieces and nephews left (or should i say we thought they were going to leave), we got together to hang out at the park.  the kids are all close in age and were excited and a little sad to see each other one last time.

i love covered buttons, especially in my hair and i love them even more if they have the colors moss and gold in them!  i was working on these today and just loved how they turned out.  i loved them so much i took a photo with my cell because my good camera is with the hubs.

sunriver weekend

hello!  we enjoyed a wonderful trip to sunriver and wanted to start off with a picture of our entire family!  most of us live in the greater portland area but this trip was extra special because we got to have the foglio's with us from arkansas.  we had such a great time swimming, exploring. and just enjoying our time together.  here are a few more pictures from our weekend.

newberg

we ended our weekend in newberg yesterday and it was amazing!  we had so much fun meeting everyone uand really enjoyed the sense of community.  i also can't get over that band from thursday night.  that lead singer was awesome!  anyone know who she was?  do they have a cd?  anyway, we got a ton of questions about how you awesome people can get your hands on the rustic ribbon creations....well the answer to that question is this blog!  we will be posting products often and want to get them to you!  we will ship or deliver to you local folks as well. if shipping isn't what your after.  we can accpet cash, money order, credit/debit cards, and paypal as form of payment on your purchase=)

busy, busy, busy

we have been working hard this weekend at the newberg old fashion festival.  who's been???  we've had so much fun and have enjoyed meeting each and every person that has purchased our merchandise.  tonight we are busy getting more flowers and magnets ready to go.  i do have to admit....i got my hands on one of sarah's bloom bag clutches.  i'm in LOVE with it.  so stinkin cute!  keep your eyes peeled.  we'll be posting more items including several that are ready to ship=)  we take paypal, cash, credit, and can deliver to all of you local folks out there.  thanks again for everything and we'll see you back at memorial park tomorrow! 

ok, i have to show you guys these frames.  my 11 year old nephew makes these and they are only $12.  they are AMAZING and made out of re-claimed materials!!!  umm, let me just say they are amazing.  if you are in the area come check them out saturday or sunday.  if not, send us an e-mail.  we can ship you one for $20.  he's also got chalkboards.  and some other cute styles.  this blue is by far my favorite though!
